We invite you to come join our Elite Imaging center's team as a Radiologic / Computed Tomography Technologist. Great learning opportunity for an experienced radiologic technologist that wants to learn CT (modality cross-training provided), and to advance their knowledge and grow within their career. This per-diem career opportunity will help cover weekends and evenings, and occasionally weekdays if needed at our multi-modality outpatient imaging facility in Victorville, CA. The center currently utilizes Digital X-Ray equipment, GE 4 slice and 16 slice CT scanners, and GE HDxT 3T MRI and GE 1.5 HDxT MRI scanners. As a X-Ray / CT Technologist you'll:
Perform high quality X-Ray, CT, DEXA, and Fluoroscopy exams on incoming patients.
Administer contrast as needed, in a safe and effective manner.
Monitor patient's well being during exams; recognizes patient discomfort or medical problems and takes appropriate action.
Guide patients through this sometimes difficult process by kindly talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process.
Assist Radiologists with CT guided biopsies if needed.
Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patient procedures.
Occasionally travel to our nearby facilities in Victorville, Apple Valley, and Barstow to help with coverage and/or receive training.
Participate in projects and complete other tasks as assigned by management.
We're looking for experienced and professional candidates who are able to independently perform all outpatient X-Ray and Fluoroscopy exams and procedures. ARRT(R) certification, CA State Licensure in Radiography (CRT), a Venipuncture permit, a Fluoroscopy permit, CPR certification, a CA State DEXA permit, at least 3 years of X-Ray work experience, and great communication skills are also a must!
CT and/or MRI experience is a plus, however we are willing to provide modality cross-training.
We offer competitive pay, modality cross-training, advancement opportunities, inter-company transfers, mileage reimbursement, and a host of other perks!
