Describe the impact RadNet has had on your career.

I’m close to my 30-year anniversary with RadNet. I thank the company for investing in my career and enabling me to pursue further education in the field of radiology. The ability to maintain patient interaction while assisting radiologists has proven to be the ultimate reward as a healthcare professional.

What is your area of focus?

I am board certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists as an RRA—Radiologist Assistant. I specialize in MR Rheumatology imaging, and routine radiology procedures with an emphasis in pediatrics. My prior research includes contrast-enhanced MR imaging of the hands and wrists in rheumatoid arthritis patients with active erosive disease.

How did RadNet support your professional growth?

I began my career in 1988 with RadNet as a staff technologist and progressed in the following years as a Mammographer, lead CT Technologist, MRI Technologist, Chief Technologist, Site Supervisor, and Site Manager. RadNet supported me as I earned advanced certification in CT and MRI and also mentored me in management with seminars and on-site training. Years later, RadNet saw potential for my advancement focusing on the technical side of imaging. With a need for mid-level providers, RadNet supported my decision to pursue a career as a Radiologist Assistant, my current role.
