Frequently Asked Questions

Q

What much does an x-ray typically cost?

A

Common x-rays generally start from around $50.00. However, specialized exams might incur additional costs.

Q

Why am I unable to schedule an appointment at a specific location?

A

Certain locations provide x-ray services on a walk-in basis only, meaning they generally don't schedule x-ray appointments in advance. The location you're interested in might not offer x-ray services or may have no available slots for your desired date.

Q

Why can't I walk-in at a particular site?

A

Some of our locations require x-ray appointments to be scheduled in advance, and hence don't accommodate walk-in x-ray patients.

Q

Is a doctor's order, prescription, or referral necessary?

A

Yes, we require a doctor's order for all procedures, irrespective of whether insurance is being utilized or it's a cash payment situation.

Q

Do I need insurance authorization for an x-ray?

A

While most insurance plans don't necessitate prior authorization for x-rays, we suggest checking your coverage details to confirm if your plan requires one.

Q

Why am I unable to schedule appointments for my minor dependent?

A

Our Patient Portal login is exclusively available to adult patients. If you're scheduling for a minor, we advise scheduling as a guest instead of creating an account.

Q

How can I obtain my examination results?

A

We automatically forward a copy of your results to the doctor who referred you. You can also access your images online via the Patient Portal, or collect them in person from any of our locations by presenting a photo ID.
