Dr. Krasny attended a six year medical program at Boston University, and diagnostic radiology residency training at UC Davis Medical Center, including chief resident responsibilities. He then attended UCLA for fellowship training in cross sectional imaging, with special emphasis on gastrointestinal, genitourinary, and non-vascular interventional procedures. Dr. Krasny also has numerous publications.

Dr. Krasny's expertise spans nearly all of diagnostic radiology, but in particular abdominal, musculoskeletal, pulmonary, oncoradiology, and non-vascular interventions (utilizing modalities including XR, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, CT, MRI, and nuclear medicine including FDG-PET).

He is a member of the Radiologic Society of North America, American Roentgen Ray Society, and the Southern Medical Association.
