Omid Bendavid, Medical Director at Beverly Women's Tower

Omid Bendavid M.D., Medical Director at Beverly Tower Women's Center, is a board-certified radiologist specializing in breast imaging. He completed a breast imaging fellowship with the highly-renowned Iris Cantor Center for Breast Imaging within the Department of Radiological Sciences at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA.

Prior to his fellowship, Dr. Bendavid completed a diagnostic radiology residency at the UC Irvine Medical Center, where he also served as chief resident. He received his medical degree from the University of Vermont College of Medicine. Dr. Bendavid completed his undergraduate education at the University of Arizona, where he studied biochemistry and graduated magna cum laude, with Phi Beta Kappa honors.

Dr. Bendavid has presented numerous times before his peers at professional events, including annual meetings at the prestigious Radiological Society of North America. He has also conducted research published in RadioGraphics, Pediatric Neurosurgery, Biochemical and Biophysical Research Communications, Biochemistry, and Gynecologic Tumor Board: Clinical Cases in Diagnosis and Management of Cancer of the Female Reproductive System.

Dr. Bendavid is a member of the American Board of Radiology and Society of Breast Imaging. In addition to fluency in English, Dr. Bendavid is fluent in Farsi, as well as conversant in basic Spanish.
