Rita Krane, M.D.

Rita Krane, MD, is a radiologist specializing in women’s imaging. She received subspecialty fellowship training at Keck Medical Center of USC in Los Angeles.

Dr. Krane completed a radiology residency at LAC+USC Medical Center in Los Angeles. She received her medical degree from the Keck School of Medicine at University of Southern California, also in Los Angeles. Prior to medical school, Dr. Krane received a Bachelor of Science in neural science from New York University in New York, where she graduated with Cum Laude honors. Dr. Krane has also received training in and FDA-approved accreditation in digital breast tomosynthesis, also known as 3D mammography.

In addition to her clinical experience, Dr. Krane was involved in several scholarly activities. She has presented educational exhibits on vascular devices and joint pathology at annual meetings of the Radiological Society of North America. She also produced a series of educational cases for the website of the American Society of Emergency Radiology.

In her spare time, Dr. Krane enjoys cooking, Russian literature and traveling. She is fluent in both English and Russian, and speaks conversational Spanish.
