The Newest Technology in Breast Health - Now Available at Murray Hill Radiology and Mammography

We are so pleased to announce that we have replaced all of our mammography units with state of the art 3D mammography (also known as tomosynthesis). The study will look and feel like the mammogram you are used to, however, instead of imaging the breast as a whole, 3D mammography acquires multiple images of your breast in a matter of seconds. As with CT scans and MRIs, the thin slices prevent the adjacent tissues from overlapping one another.

The other breakthrough that we have added to the practice is an extremely advanced and precise technology that allows us to perform a needle biopsy of a suspicious finding that can only be seen with 3D imaging (a tomosynthesis-guided biopsy).

We highly recommend the 3D exam because we believe it is a superior mammogram - click here to learn more or to schedule a 3D mammogram.
