Breast cancer awareness has increased rapidly in recent years. Technological advances in radiology have significantly improved our ability to screen for early detection of cancer and treat the problem before it becomes a life-threatening illness. I have had the opportunity to work in the field of mammography since its inception.
For the past 17 years, I have seen technology and medicine work hand in hand to help save lives. As a breast imager at Breastlink Women’s Imaging Centers, I have the opportunity to help patients live longer, happier and more worry-free lives. I cannot think of many things in life that are more rewarding than working at a Center that is dedicated to truly helping its patients by employing experts in the field and embracing the technological advances that allow us to do our jobs more effectively.
