Roy Gottlieb, D.O.

Roy Gottlieb, D.O. Roy Gottlieb, D.O., received an undergraduate degree from University of South Florida in Tampa, Fla. and a medical degree from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury, N.Y.

Following a medical internship at Southeastern Medical Center in Miami, Dr. Roy Gottlieb served in the United States Navy. As a medical officer, Dr. Gottlieb completed his diagnostic radiology residency and served as co-chief resident at Bethesda Naval Hospital, now formally known as Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, in Bethesda, Md.

Dr. Gottlieb also completed fellowship training in body and musculoskeletal imaging as a medical officer in the Navy. The fellowship consisted of rotations at Bethesda Naval Hospital, Columbia Hospital for Women in Washington, D.C., John Hopkins University in Baltimore, Md., Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, D.C. and UCSF School of Medicine in San Francisco. Dr. Gottlieb is also a fellow of the Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography (FSCCT).

Dr. Gottlieb has been a lecturer at national meetings, has published numerous articles in Radiology and remains active in radiology research. He has been on the faculty as Assistant Professor of the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USUHS) in Bethesda, Md., and is currently on the faculty of Western University of Health Sciences as ancillary professor in radiology.

Dr. Gottlieb has served as Rolling Oaks Radiology Medical Director since 2004 and is a current member of the Radiological Society of North America, the American Roentgen Ray Society, the Los Angeles Radiological Society, North American Society of Cardiac Imaging, Society of Cardiovascular Computer Tomography, and Society of Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance.
