Donald E. Decker, M.D., received a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from California State University, Chico prior to attending medical school at the University of Iowa’s College of Medicine. After receiving his medical degree, Dr. Decker completed a residency in diagnostic radiology with Michigan State University College of Human Medicine-affiliated Grand Rapids Medical Education Partners.

Dr. Donald Decker possesses an extensive background in medical research, with interests in computers and their application to medical education. During his time at the University of Iowa’s Carver College of Medicine, Dr. Decker was also a member of the medical student council, served as a legislative liaison to the American Medical Association and worked with the medical student mentoring program.

Dr. Decker worked as a resident instructor while at Michigan State University. After completing his residency, Dr. Decker returned to northern California and served within leadership positions at North State Radiology and as vice-chair of the radiology department at Enloe Hospital. He returned to his extended family and childhood home in Simi Valley, joining Rolling Oaks Radiology in 2013. Dr. Decker currently works as one of the primary women’s imaging physicians for the group.

In his spare time, Dr. Decker enjoys swimming, rollerblading, reading, hiking, acting, singing and playing with his kids.
