Amir Kashefi, MD

Dr. Amir Kashefi had a two-year fellowship in advanced interventional radiology and abdominal imaging before becoming board certified. After fellowship, he held a position as an interventional radiologist and body imaging specialist in a community practice which serviced 4 hospitals. He has published multiple papers and book chapters in peer reviewed journals and has participated in imaging research projects.

Dr. Kashefi’s areas of interest are interventional oncology and oncological imaging, which includes PET/CT. He is experienced in oncologic interventional procedures including venous and enteral access, biopsies, palliative procedures, and minimally-invasive image-guided tumor therapies.

Dr. Kashefi is committed to patient-centered care and believes in a team-based approach to improve outcome and patient satisfaction.
