David Stoller, MD, to Host Upcoming CME Course in Orthopaedic Imaging

RadNet, Inc., a leading provider of high-quality, cost-effective diagnostic imaging services through a national network of 251 owned and/or operated outpatient imaging centers, announced that David W. Stoller, M.D., F.A.C.R, will host a continuing medical education (CME) workshop for orthopaedic imaging in Laguna Beach, California from December 13-14, 2014. This event offers radiologists, orthopedic surgeons and allied health care professionals the opportunity to receive exclusive instruction from Dr. Stoller, a well-renowned expert in sports imaging and the author of multiple influential textbooks on musculoskeletal (MSK) and orthopaedic imaging.

The 2-day checklist workshop for orthopaedic imaging will aid radiologists, surgeons and physicians in the diagnosis and management of musculoskeletal conditions.

To be held from December 13-14, 2014 at the Montage Laguna Beach in Laguna Beach, California.

This 2-day event will focus extensively on diagnostic imaging of and common conditions affecting the shoulder, knee, ankle, wrist and elbows,” said Dr. Stoller, RadNet’s director of Orthopaedic and Musculoskeletal Imaging and co-director of the RadNet Musculoskeletal MRI Fellowship. “The course will include a review of more than 100 complete cases. Upon completion of this course attendees should be able to confidently develop checklists to aid interpretation of many musculoskeletal imaging exams and prospective MSK diagnoses.”

Throughout his 25-year career, Dr. Stoller has established himself as a talented educator though his Comprehensive Tutorials in Musculoskeletal Imaging series. He is also director of Current Issues of Magnetic Resonance Imaging in Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine, an educational symposium for radiologists and orthopaedic surgeons. Dr. Stoller is an adjunct professor of radiology at John Hopkins University School of Medicine.

In addition to presentations by Dr. Stoller, there will be lectures by:

  • John V. Crues, M.D., RadNet medical director and co-director of the RadNet Musculoskeletal MRI Fellowship, who will discuss state-of-the-art clinical articular cartilage imaging.

  • Mark Stein, M.D., president of West Coast Radiology Centers, who will discuss femoroacetabular impingement (FAI) of the hip.

  • Anthony Stauffer, M.D., a West Coast Radiology Centers radiologist, who will discuss FAI of the hip.

The Stoller Checklist Workshop for Orthopaedic Imaging is appropriate for orthopaedic surgeons, radiology fellows, radiologic technologists, physicians practicing sports medicine and health care professionals with a desire to learn more about imaging as an aid in the management of diseases affecting the musculoskeletal system. It will be held December 13-14, 2014 at the Montage Laguna Beach on South Coast Highway in Laguna Beach, California. For more information please visit http://stollermskcourse.com/december-2014-home.
