Dr. Phan has been practicing Intervention Radiology and Interventional Oncology for the past couple years. Being an Interventional Radiologist means interpreting any diagnostic imaging (CT, US, MRI,etc…) to diagnose the medical problem and then use real-time imaging to guide interventional procedures to achieve a diagnostic or therapeutic outcome. My goal is to help expand and broaden the scope of Interventional Radiology practice at Kern Radiology. Hopefully, in the near future I can focus my practice in the field of Interventional Oncology. I strongly feel there is a real need for it in Bakersfield, where many patients can benefit from it.
Outside of work he loves spending time outdoors and with his family. When he wants to relax he tends to combine the two. He enjoys camping, hiking, fishing and cycling.
