Dr. King completed his diagnostic radiology residency and neuroradiology fellowship at UCLA. He has been in private practice on the Westside since 1995 and has performed thousands of routine image-guided spinal injection procedures such as epidural cortisone injections. In addition, Dr. King has considerable expertise in newer, more sophisticated procedures such as discography, radiofrequency neurolysis, vertebroplasty, and percutaneous laminotomy. He also has extensive experience in CT and ultrasound-guided biopsy of the head and neck as well as of the abdominal organs.
Dr. King is known not only for his interventional skills, but also for his abilities with neurological and musculoskeletal MRI, nuclear medicine, PET and general and vascular ultrasound. Dr. King is a senior member of the American Society of Neuroradiology and a Clinical Assistant Professor of Radiology at the Keck School of Medicine at USC.
