Dr. Gita Varaprasathan is an experienced, fellowship trained in Body and Breast board-certified radiologist. Her fellowship training in
Women’s Imaging and Abdominal Imaging was at the University of California, San Francisco.
With core interests in both breast and body imaging, Dr. Varaprasathan’s experience is wide-ranging. Her previous position with a subspecialty radiology practice provided all aspects of women’s imaging in a hospital setting. She has presented research at medical conferences and has co-authored research papers. Dr. Varaprasathan has participated in numerous multidisciplinary tumor boards dedicated to breast cancer.
Dr. Varaprasathan has been actively involved with community service organizations throughout her academic and professional career. She has participated in multiple local outreach events and panels aimed at supporting breast cancer survivors and promoting cancer screening in the community.
