Dr. Matthew Herczyk earned his medical degree from the Virginia Commonwealth University College of Medicine and spent his residency in diagnostic radiology (and fellowship in musculoskeletal studies) in the university’s health system. He holds a special interest in musculoskeletal radiology. Dr. Herczyk is a member of the American College of Radiology, the American Roentgen Ray Society and the Radiological Society of North America.

Dr. Herczyk joined Community Radiology Associates in 2018 and brings with him nearly a decade of experience in the field of radiology. He became particularly interested in musculoskeletal radiology after spending time around his father, a former professional athlete, who underwent numerous orthopedic surgeries. “It’s a fascinating field, because the anatomy is complex and almost every case is different,” Dr. Herczyk added.

Outside of the office, Dr. Herczyk enjoys music, spending time with his family and considers himself a “food enthusiast,” having cooked professionally in the past.
