Dr. Aujero earned her medical degree at Georgetown University and completed her residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Christiana Care Hospital where she served as Chief Resident and was recipient of the Roentgen Ray research award. Having completed her Breast Imaging fellowship at the University of Maryland, she is excited to join the local medical community. She believes in collaboration, accessibility and open communication with the health care team to provide the best possible care to the patients and families being served.

She specializes in all aspects of breast imaging, including interpretation of Digital Mammography, 3D Mammography, Breast Ultrasound and Breast MRI, and brings expertise in image-guided procedures of the breast including Ultrasound-Guided Biopsies, Stereotactic-Guided Biopsies, MRI-Guided Biopsies and breast localization procedures for patients desiring breast conservation following breast cancer diagnosis. She has several publications in many top peer-reviewed journals in the field including Radiology, Radiographics and Journal of American College of Radiology.

She is an active member in the Society of Breast Imaging and has presented several abstracts in national and European conferences. She also holds memberships with Radiological Society of North America, American College of Radiology, American Roentgen Ray Society and the Medical Society of Delaware. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two young boys, traveling, reading, listening to podcasts and painting.
