New Service Offering: DEXA Whole Body Composition

Northwest Radiology is now offering DEXA Body Composition scans at our Breast Center in Carmel, located at 11450 N. Meridian St., Suite 100, Carmel, IN 46032. This new service reflects our ongoing commitment to meeting the evolving health, wellness and fitness needs of the Central Indiana community.

A More Complete Picture of Your Body

Your weight and BMI tell only part of the story. A DEXA Body Composition scan uses low-dose X-rays to provide detailed measurements of body fat, visceral fat, lean tissue, muscle and bone mineral density. 

Whether you're working toward weight-loss goals, building muscle or tracking changes in your fitness, a scan can establish a baseline and help you monitor changes in body composition over time.

The scan takes approximately 10–15 minutes, requires no referral and is available on a self-pay basis. FSA/HSA funds may be eligible for use.
