Your care and safety is our top priority. To keep our centers safe and accessible, we diligently screen all of our staff and potential patients for COVID-19 related symptoms. We want you to feel confident regarding your safety when you visit one of our centers.

Dr. Jarett Burak is a board-certified, fellowship-trained radiologist with a special interest in musculoskeletal imaging who joined the Lenox Hill Radiology (LHR) team in January 2019. He has been in practice for over 10 years and his clinical interests include sports imaging, spine imaging, high-resolution MR imaging of total joint replacements, musculoskeletal ultrasound and ultrasound-guided musculoskeletal procedures.

He earned his medical degree at the State University of New York (SUNY) Upstate Medical University. His residency was completed at Beth Israel Medical Center (Petrie Division, NYC) and his fellowship at the Hospital for Special Surgery (NYC). Dr. Burak is a member of the Society of Skeletal Radiology and the American College of Radiology.

Dr. Burak grew up watching his father’s career as a radiologist. “I gravitated toward radiology because I appreciated the horizontal nature of the specialty and how you’re basically a clinician’s clinician, helping other doctors make diagnoses and important clinical decisions on their patients,” Dr. Burak says of his inspiration to follow radiology as a career.

“I enjoy working directly with referring clinicians, orthopedic surgeons, spine surgeons and physical medicine specialists to help them figure out what’s going on with their patients,” he added. “I also enjoy interacting directly with patients when performing image guided musculoskeletal procedures.”

When not working, Dr. Burak enjoys music (both as a fan and playing the guitar himself) as well as playing golf.
