Lenox Hill Radiology is proud to add a new wide-open 1.5T MRI at its Elmont imaging center, expanding access to advanced AI technology while creating a more comfortable imaging experience for patients. The new 1.5T MRI features a spacious 70cm opening, providing extra room for patients who may be claustrophobic or larger in size.
Designed with both imaging capabilities and patient comfort in mind, the new wide-open 1.5T MRI offers expanded exam capabilities, including:

Many exams can also be performed feet first, allowing the patient’s head to remain outside the MRI unit.
