1.5T and 3.0T Wide-Open MRI Systems

1.5T and 3.0T Wide-Open MRI Systems

The newest MRI technology available, the Wide-Open MRI combines superior image quality with the comfort of an Open MRI. Because it has more space from side to side and above the head, it is especially valuable for patients who are claustrophobic or too large to fit comfortably in a traditional MRI. Its uniquely short length also allows the patient’s head to be outside of the unit for many studies.

1.5T MRI

1.5T MRI

1.5T or traditional high field MRI provides high quality diagnostic images and are appropriate for most patients and the full-range of clinical studies.

3.0T MRI

3.0T MRI

3.0T MRI provides greater resolution for difficult areas such as musculoskeletal (hands, wrist, fingers, and feet) and neurological studies.

1.5T Extremity MRI

1.5T Extremity MRI

A much smaller MRI scanner, the 1.5T Extremity MRI provides high-quality images of hands, legs and feet. Because only the targeted anatomy needs to be inside the system, the patient sits or reclines comfortably on the outside.

Traditional Open MRI

Traditional Open MRI

Suitable for claustrophobic and larger size patients that respond better to a scanner that is open laterally versus a wider bore.
