Leadership Spotlight: CCMS appoints Glenn Groat, MD as President

Radiology Regional is proud to congratulate Glenn Groat, MD, on his appointment as the 69th President of the Board of Directors for the Collier County Medical Society (CCMS). A dedicated leader within the organization, Dr. Groat has served on the CCMS Board of Directors for the past five years, including his most recent role as Vice President, and has also been a member of the CCMS Foundation Board for the past three years. As President, he will continue advancing the Society's mission of supporting physician members and strengthening healthcare throughout the communities they serve.
 
Since joining Radiology Regional in 2016, Dr. Groat has been a respected physician leader whose vision, expertise, and collaborative approach have helped guide the practice through significant growth and transformation. He provided valuable leadership during Radiology Regional's transition to a subsidiary of RadNet and played an instrumental role in the practice's geographic expansion, including the addition of new imaging centers in Lee and Charlotte Counties.
 
Known for his commitment to excellence, strategic insight, and dedication to patient care, Dr. Groat has consistently championed initiatives that strengthen access to high-quality healthcare throughout Southwest Florida. His appointment as CCMS President reflects his longstanding commitment to both the medical profession and the communities he serves.
