RadNet, Inc. Announces the Addition of Lawrence Tanenbaum, M.D. to its Operational and Clinical Management Teams

LOS ANGELES, California, September 22, 2015– RadNet, Inc. (NASDAQ: RDNT), a national leader in providing high-quality, cost-effective diagnostic imaging services through a network of owned and operated outpatient imaging centers, announced today the addition of Lawrence N. Tanenbaum, M.D., FACR to both its operational and clinical teams. Dr. Tanenbaum will serve as Vice President and Medical Director East Region - Director of CT, MR and Advanced Imaging.

Dr. Tanenbaum’s operational and management responsibilities will focus on (i) leveraging his unique knowledge of CT and MRI equipment, protocols and workflow to help optimize clinical and operational performance and (ii) utilizing his expertise and luminary status within the industry to drive new business to our centers.

Additionally, as a member of the Lenox Hill Radiology and Medical Imaging Associates, P.C. clinical team, Dr. Tanenbaum will provide interpretations for key referrers and/or unique cases and support and educate other radiologists within the RadNet family on difficult or unique cases.

Dr. Tanenbaum comes to RadNet from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York, where he served as an Associate Professor of Radiology, Director of MRI, CT and Outpatient / Advanced Imaging Development since 2008. Prior to 2008, Dr. Tanebaum spent over 20 years in the private practice of Radiology at the JFK Medical Center / New Jersey Neuroscience Institute as the Director of MRI, CT and Neuroradiology. There, Dr. Tanebaum grew his outpatient imaging pratice into one of the best known and respected in the industry, recognized for quality and the translation of advanced technology into practice.

Dr. Tanenbaum is a senior member of the American Society of Neuroradiology and long term member of the Radiological Society of North America (“RSNA”). He is the current President of the Eastern Society of Neuroradiology, past President of the national Clinical Magnetic Resonance and former Editor in Chief of its Journal “Vision.” He is a member of the Roster of Distinguished Scientific Advisors of the RSNA as well as a number of panels and committees of the American College of Radiology. Dr. Tanenbaum is a member of the editorial boards of several journals and educational organizations and a regular reviewer for several scientific journals.

Dr. Tanenbaum is a long term collaborator with the medical imaging industry, with interests in developing applications of contrast agents, MR, CT and advanced rendering in the clinical practice of medicine focusing on efficiency, radiation dose appropriateness and physiologic imaging. Dr. Tanenbaum has authored approximately 100 scholarly and peer reviewed articles, continues to chair educational and academic meetings and has delivered over 1500 invited lectures around the world.
